Four of Loíza’s barrios, Loíza aldea, is famous across Puerto Rico because it has been a talent pool for dancers and artisans. Formerly a center for Puerto Rican music, it is said to be the traditional birthplace of the musical form known as plena along with Ponce.

Each year there is a celebration in Loíza where people parade around wearing Máscaras de Vejigante. Máscaras de Vejigante are a type of mask made in Loíza. They are made of coconut, and painted in multiple colors.

Loíza is known as “La Capital de la Tradición”- “The Capital of Traditions”- for its “bomba” music, traditional Taíno and African dishes, artisanry, and distinct culture.

A vehicle is necessary to get to nearby Stores and restaurants.

Please be aware that the apartment complex is within a traditional Puerto Rican neighborhood. Therefore a car is necessary to get around as it is enchantingly remote.

★Costamar Beach Village West – Apt 206 is a special place that has best gastronomical, nightlife and blue beaches minutes away.
★ We love our neighborhood and respect them as well, so its very important that music systems are not allowed at the property. They have smart tv and you can play music from them, if you need any request of services request to Host, they will provide and guide you in any way to have a unique experience. Any external services are prohibited. There is a fine of $900 per day if any terms or house rules agreement are breached. We have a very strict smoking policy, please refrain from smoking inside our property.

★ Please remember towels and linen are only for the use in the property and if they get stain they will be a charge of the items of replacement for overhead,shipping and delivery for $50 dollars per item.

Parties, loud music or noise, and smoking are strictly prohibited. Quiet hours begin at 10 PM. Please be respectful of your noise level during quiet hours. Our neighbors live here full-time, and we work hard to maintain good relationships with them. Our home is equipped with NoiseAware, which measures sound levels and alerts us if things are too loud so we can give you a heads-up. NoiseAware does not record content; it only measures noise levels, so your privacy is 100% guaranteed.
